Treks and Hikes...

What this trekking, hiking, are they same or Used as a alternative or is there any difference between trekking and hiking?

Really very awesome terms "Trekking" or "Trek", "Hiking" or "Hike".
Both these terms refer to an outdoor physical activity which generally means a walk with nature. Generally done to rewind senses, improve physical endurance, hobby, love to nature, for a change in daily schedule or to (specially in India) visit historic hilly forts गड - किल्ले (to show respect and pay homage).

Hiking and Trekking these both terms are often used interchangeably.
Hiking is generally an outdoor physical activity of walking in beautiful natural environment on pre charted trails and man made roads. Hiking is generally of low intensity and involves less risks. Hikes can be arranged on day and nights. Hikes are scheduled for short interval of time( generally a day long). It may or may not consist of camping.
Trekking is known to be more rigorous and hard physical activity which includes walking in natural environments, mountains on less traveled or unknown trails.Trekking may check a individual's physical ability, endurance and even test his/her mental and psychological strength.
The intensity involved in trekking is much more than that of involved in hiking. Trekking is generally multiple day activity with night stays, night walks and camping in hostile terrain. A trekker may have to use maps, compass, his previous experiences and common sense to survive. Also, a trekker or trekking team may need first aid kit and survival skills in their journey.
